Senior Sales Manager

Summary

Enernet is seeking a Senior Sales Manager in our Philippines office to lead our sales initiative. The Senior Sales Manager will be instrumental in developing our sales strategy and ultimately generating leads, closing new business and managing client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads in the C&I and Electrical Cooperative segments with a clear understanding of customer pain points
  • Lead execution of strategic and operational market penetration programs
  • Present to client executives and interface with clients that will lead to a sale/contract
  • Manage prioritization and progression of a funnel of opportunities for every generated lead
  • Liaise with cross-function teams within Enernet to secure support in project design, financing, and pricing
  • Handle client engagement throughout the following phases: lead generation, site survey, proposal creation, contract negotiation and PPA signing
  • Anticipate hurdles and potential problems/challenges
  • Execute disciplined reporting on company CRM (Pipedrive)
  • Track weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual personal performance for the following milestones: lead qualified, proposal sent, exclusivity agreement and MOU/MOA signed, PPA contract negotiated, PPA signed
  • Develop and nurture partnerships with new and existing partners, and present progress to their board on key accounts and project metrics
  • Requirements

  • 8-12 years of experience in the Power sector and sales
  • Comprehensive presentation and analytical skills
  • Strong track record in closing power supply contracts
  • Deep local market knowledge in identified segments
  • Leadership experience in managing proposal development
  • Up-to-date view on the competitive landscape for power in the Philippines, with bidding strategies to counter competitive offers
  • Comfortable liaising with key local government executives, staff, Technical Working Groups (TWG), and Bids & Awards Committee (BAC)
  • Experienced with sites visits and capable of capturing power needs and challenges with insights on their current electrical configuration
  • Open to travel for work to meet clients
  • Fluency in English given daily communications with the head office in New York and the Engineering team in Australia
  • Preferred: Bachelors of Science in Electrical engineering
  • Preferred: Fluent in Visayan

    Enernet Global LLC is head quartered in NYC and is focused on originating, financing, operating and maintaining distributed energy plants, known as microgrids, around the globe. The microgrids designed by Enernet maximize renewable penetration to realize cost savings to customers as well as minimize the carbon footprint to make the earth a better place. Enernet’s microgrids typically support off-grid (and on-grid) loads of 0.5MW to 15MW. The assets used for a microgrid are a combination of solar, wind, storage, biomass and fossil fuel generators. The expertise that Enernet brings is in sizing these assets for the desired load while minimizing fossil fuel consumption. This results in a lower and more stable cost basis for the energy for 15-25 years, which is the typical life span of these projects.
